Members of the Artesia Public Schools Board of Education, school administrators, and primary APS office personnel gather Friday afternoon at the site of the district’s new Administration Building for a “topping out party.” The APS employees signed the final beam to be installed in the structure before it was put in place by Jaynes Corp. “We’re all excited about this new facility for the community and for our staff,” said APS Superintendent Dr. Crit Caton. APS staff expect to be in the new building by mid-June 2017.
