The Ocotillo Comedy Troupe will present “Sleepy Hollow: The Musical” at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, and 2 and 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center.
The Ocotillo Comedy Troupe is made up of local actors of all ages and skill levels. This group takes the story of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman and brings it alive during this autumn season. With musical numbers to please all ages, the story of Terrytown, N.Y., is brought to life.
“This production brings together our children, youth and adults in a way that all benefit,” said Laurie Schotz, executive director of the Artesia Arts Council. “Also, audiences of all ages will enjoy this family-friendly version of the tale.”
Those who come in costume to the 8:30 p.m. show Saturday will receive free admission and also be eligible to win a free prize of a Golden Ticket – OPAC season subscription – worth $450.
Additionally, cast from the production will meet and greet during the Trick-or-Treat MainStreet event from 5-7 p.m. Saturday and also provide some entertainment.
Artesians won’t want to miss this spooktacular day in downtown Artesia. Tickets for the show are $15 for adults, $8 for children unless in costume for the 8:30 p.m. Saturday show.
