Visitors to Saturday’s 42nd Annual Art in the Park at Central Park peruse booths laden with handmade items that ran the gamut from jams and jellies to glass art, teapot mobiles to western paintings, and Native American jewelry to wall hangings.

The event, held in conjunction with the Artesia Public Schools band program’s annual Cake Walk, drew large crowds despite above normal temperatures, and all agreed this year’s Art in the Park offered more for everyone, whether seeking a tasty treat, a holiday gift, or something for the kids.
