Sara Langenegger holds Sheppy during Paws & Claws’ spay and neuter clinic held today at the Sun Country Volunteer Fire Department, in conjunction with Kelly Barker of Uncaged Paws. The group reported 54 animals were serviced today, with another clinic set for Thursday at the Hagerman Community Center and two Friday and Saturday in Roswell. “We currently have 60 animals registered for each of the remaining clinics, but we can take some walk-ins,” Barker said. Animals must not have eaten after 8 p.m. the previous day. Cost for spay and/or neuter, microchip, and rabies is $75 per animal; parvo/distemper vaccines are also available.
