Joseph A. Quintero, 26, of Artesia, found guilty of DWI and expired registration. Sentenced to 364 days of supervised probation and ordered to complete drug and alcohol screening, 24 hours of community service, DWI School, DWISE, and ignition interlock installation. Total fines and fees $627.

Stephanie Candelaria, of Artesia, found guilty of battery. Sentenced to 181 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $73. A charge of aggravated assault upon a household member was dismissed by the prosecutor.

Echo Derrick, 30, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of possession of a controlled substance, to wit: methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, to wit: heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

George Randall Hale, 58, of Los Lunas, bound over to district court on charges of two counts of larceny over $20,000, unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, tampering with evidence, three counts of criminal damage to property under $1,000, six counts of burglary of a vehicle, criminal damage over $1,000, and two counts of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.

Gavin Soto, 19, of Artesia, found guilty of minor allowing self to be served alcoholic beverages and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to 306 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $551. A charge of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer was dismissed by the prosecutor.

Diana Mosqueda, 22, of Artesia, found guilty of interference with a public official or the general public. Sentenced to 180 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $73.

Ricky L. Jimenez, 28, of Artesia, found guilty of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. Sentenced to 315 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $223.

Charges of three counts of trespassing dismissed without prejudice by the prosecutor against Bobby Lee Wilder, 60, of Artesia.

Charges of assault and battery dismissed against Armida Carrerra—Salas, 59, of Carlsbad.

Mark Rommel II, 34, of Artesia, found guilty of shoplifting and disorderly conduct. Sentenced to 180 days of unsupervised probation. Total fines and fees $73.

David Rodriguez Mendez, 40, of Carlsbad, bound over to district court on charges of false imprisonment.

Alvaro Calderon—Calderon, 33, of Artesia, scheduled to appear for pretrial conference Oct. 7 on charges of indecent exposure and littering.

Fabian A. Lopez, 20, of Artesia, found guilty of aggravated DWI (second offense), careless driving, and driving on revoked license. Sentenced to 30 days in ECDC and three years of supervised probation, and ordered to complete mandatory counseling/treatment, alcohol and drug screening, 48 hours of community service, and ignition interlock installation. Total fines and fees $877.

ARTESIA MUNICIPAL COURT

Alejandro Quezada pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor or drugs (first offense), mandatory financial responsibility, and operators and chauffeurs must be licensed. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 88 days suspended, credit time served, and 365 days of supervised probation, and ordered to complete alcohol screening, DWI School, community service, and ignition interlock installation. Total fines and fees $772.

Alfredo Osornio pleaded guilty to battery. Sentenced to 90 days of ankle monitoring with 75 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation, and ordered to have no contact with the victim. Total fines and fees $129.

Joseph Fuentes pleaded guilty to manufacture, possession or delivery of drug paraphernalia. Sentenced to 90 days of ankle monitoring with 75 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $129.

Michael A. Jimenez pleaded guilty to shoplifting. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 80 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation, and ordered not to be on the property of Wal-Mart. Total fines and fees $129.

Michael A. DeHoyos pleaded guilty to interference with officers. Sentenced to 90 days in the Artesia Detention Center with 80 days suspended and 90 days of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $129.
