The Artesia Fire Department will host its inaugural 9/11 Golf Tournament on Sept. 11 at the Artesia Country Club to benefit the Unit Scholarship Fund.
The AFD is partnering with TriState CareFlight to create the tournament, which will benefit a worthy cause. The Unit Scholarship Fund was created in 1993 to honor Special Forces members who died in service to the nation.
