With Artesia’s own Sons of Thunder Pyro Team retiring after 20 years from producing the city fireworks extravaganza following Fourth of July 2013, the Chamber of Commerce has arranged to bring in Garden State Fireworks of New Jersey to conduct this year’s show.
Sons of Thunder will be assisting with site diagrams and setup.
“The Sons of Thunder are pleased to take part in this year’s show,” said team leader Mike Deans. “It’s just not the same kind of pressure, assisting. The team members will assist but will actually get to truly enjoy the show this time. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
