In June, Concho Resources Inc. held the 2013 Concho Invitational Golf Tournament to raise funds for Grammy’s House, Artesia’s domestic violence agency.

At the invitational, Concho was able to give Grammy’s House a check for $10,000 but hoped that after paying for the event, there would be more to donate. Fortunately, they were right.

On Thursday, Concho awarded Grammy’s House an additional $9,300, making the grand total raised $19,300. Grammy’s was unaware they would be receiving another check and was happily surprised when the news was announced.

Opening in 1993, Grammy’s is celebrating their 20th year of operation. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
