Greg Neal of Exerplay Inc. details to a Chase Scholars Community Services Team, below, where the pivot point is on playground equipment the team is helping to install today. Exerplay has been involved in the oil rig park equipment projects at Jaycee Park as well as the Splash Pad at Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The Downtown Lions sponsored the Chase teams today. Scholars Mariah Velo and Brittney Burgess both said “it’s great to give back.” “They’ve satisfied all the demands we’ve put on them, and now they just have to go to school and make the grades,” said Richard Price of The Chase Foundation. Above, a Chase Scholars team took a few minutes out of their hot and busy day Tuesday to smile and strike a pose in front of the Daily Press offices while tending to the lampposts and flag pole holders along Main Street. Pictured are, from left, Karime Zubia, Ali Lykins, Michelle Casillas, Kayli Lynch and Brandon Arranda. Not pictured was Team Leader DeShea Hanagan. Grace Miller – Daily Press
