Over the past two years, Ken and Jo Newton, owners of Artesia Car Parts, have significantly expanded a recycling effort that has resulted in much-needed funds for Dogs for the Deaf, a BPO Does-sponsored organization that trains assistance dogs for the hearing impaired, autistic and physically challenged.
The Newtons gather cardboard, newspapers, magazines and aluminum cans at Artesia Car Parts for recycling and donate the proceeds to the local Does chapter. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
