Francesca Fernandez-Aragon speaks to audience members at the Ocotillo Performing Arts Center Wednesday morning during the seminar “Why We Stay: Domestic Violence from a Victim’s Perspective.” Fernandez-Aragon is an accredited instructor certified by the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy and an adjunct instructor at the Albuquerque Police Academy, the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy, the Southeastern Law Enforcement Academy and the New Mexico State Police Academy.
