Born the third of six children to a sharecropper in West Texas, Steve Pearce grew up to become a New Mexico Congressman and tells his story as the author of “Just Fly the Plane, Stupid!”

On Wednesday, Pearce held a book signing at the Chamber of Commerce, signing books with personal messages for many Artesia community members.
