The efforts of employees at Mack Energy Corporation paid off last week as items were accumulated for the 2014 Christmas for Our Troops project, which distributes Christmas boxes of goodies to members of the military serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“Every day should be a day to remember the sacrifices that are being made on our behalf so we remain free and safe from those who would wish to do us harm,” said Michelle Madrid, coordinator of the Mack Energy collection. “We have these men, women and K9s serving our country, serving us, and during the holidays we think of our families being together.
