Students from Grand Heights Early Childhood Center performed a Thanksgiving program Tuesday afternoon for their families. Mrs. Orosco’s and Ms. Kenzie’s Cheetah class and Mrs. Vega’s Pony class were adorned as pilgrims, Native Americans, turkeys and ears of corn. The classes sang songs about the pilgrims’ journey on the Mayflower, turkeys and what they are thankful for. The kindergarteners even performed a Thanksgiving skit that had the audience laughing. The teachers had help from room mother Gracie Bustamante and room grandfather Vicente Bustamante, who created and helped set up the props and volunteered their time.
