A bronze statue of a bulldog now greets travelers heading along Main Street from the Seventh Street intersection near the town clock. The bulldog is the newest addition to the collection of statues downtown and was commissioned by Ralph Nix, owner of adjacent Ralph Nix Exploration LLC. Brienne Green – Daily Press
