ARTESIA — The Artesia Police Department in cooperation with Crimestoppers of Eddy County is requesting the public’s assistance in solving an aggravated burglary that occurred between 5 p.m. Sept. 27 and 6:06 p.m. Sept. 29 in the 700 block of West Richey Avenue.

Suspect(s) gained entry into a storage building by cutting the lock off, and once inside, the suspect(s) removed a Cannon gun safe containing five shotguns, two revolver pistols, three semi-automatic pistols, 10 rifles, a night vision scope, three Mathews compound bows, an all-in-one knife, an Alaskan knife set, and other various hunting gear. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
