The Balloons and Bluegrass Festival accommodated 23 hot air balloons and four bluegrass bands perfectly Saturday, with some pilots doing balloon dances prior to launching at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Complex to set the mood for a great show.
A hot air balloon being blown up to float into the sky has a fun but lengthy 20-minute to an hour-long process to complete before the hour-and-a-half joy ride before the 20 gallons of propane runs out.
