The Artesia City Council approved contracts this week for the construction of a helipad and housing for additional emergency services personnel.

The helipad, which will consist of eight lights surrounding a fenced-in, 160-square-foot concrete platform, will be located behind Fire Station No. 1 at the Public Safety Complex at 3300 W. Main St. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
