Audra Kimpel is a fourth-grade teacher this year at Hermosa Elementary School.
She was born and raised in Artesia and is an alumnus of Artesia High School. She attended college at New Mexico State University and received her bachelor’s degree in family and child science, along with masters degrees in early childhood development and elementary education.
