ARTESIA — The Artesia Public Schools are always looking for ways to enhance education for students, and Artesia (Park) Junior High School stepped up to the plate Sept. 13.

Lt. Javier Moncada of the New Mexico State Police visited one of the freshman English classrooms to discuss the legal definitions of murder and self-defense and how they apply to the fictional character Rainsford from “The Most Dangerous Game.” Moncada is also a parent of one of the students. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
