Local elected officials and business leaders commemorated the groundbreaking Tuesday afternoon of the La Quinta Inn and Suites, to be located at 2207 W. Main St.

 

The La Quinta will be the first of a two-property project occupying 4.8 acres. Full negotiations are not complete for the second, as-yet-unnamed franchise, which is anticipated to be a 60-room, extended-stay facility with cooking capabilities for long-term tenants located on the back 2.8 acres. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
