Relay for Life was a big success Friday evening at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Complex. About 250 people gathered together as varying teams to take turns walking the track throughout the night, offering good company and encouragement to one another. Children ran and played as families visited and enjoyed food offered by different team sponsors.
Rob Morrisey, owner of The Jahva House, had his “Brew Crew” put together and ready to go. A team of eight people and two dogs, the group worked together to get refreshments ready for participants and took turns on the track. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
