ARTESIA — The Artesia City Council, along with several other city officials and department heads, will travel to Cloudcroft July 26-28 for the annual council retreat.
The council began organizing the retreat a few years ago in an effort to lighten the load at regular council meetings, which could at times stretch into the four-hour range.
