Kevin Hammond, assistant drilling superintendent with Concho Resources, welcomed a record 330 people to the Eddy County Shooting Range Saturday morning for Concho’s inaugural charity clays shoot. The Eddy County Shooting Range Association opened two courses to accommodate the shooters, who hailed from Artesia, Texas, Oklahoma and Montana. Charities benefiting from the $51,000 raised by the charity shoot will be Isaiah’s Soup Kitchen in Hobbs, Meals on Wheels in Artesia, and CARC in Carlsbad.
