The Artesia Chamber of Commerce staff delivered lunch today to the Sons of Thunder Pyro Team at Jaycee Park. In preparation for the Fourth of July fireworks show, “The Final Countdown,” the team camps out at the park for an entire week. The Artesia Rotary Club and Smokin’ on the Pecos Planning Committee also provided meals to the team this week. Devon Energy generously made the first monetary contribution to this year’s show. The chamber is still in need of contributions to cover costs.
