Visibility was virtually eliminated and damage done in several areas of town late Wednesday evening and early this morning as a wind storm raged through Artesia. Above, blowing dirt fills the air near Guadalupe Park.Below, damage done to the roof of a local residence is shown. The National Weather Service reported gusts up to 60 mph during the course of the storm.
