Fatal collision leaves Dexter man dead, Artesia man in stable condition

SANTA FE – A fatal collision around 5:30 a.m. today on State Road 529 left on man dead and another in stable condition at a local hospital.

A vehicle driven by 56-year-old James Boggio of Dexter was heading eastbound on S.R. 529 when it crossed over the center line and struck a westbound vehicle driven by 38-year-old Jason Huggins of Artesia.

Boggio was pronounced dead at the scene by the OMI while Huggins remains in stable condition at a local hospital.
