After attending an 80-hour Fire Officer III and IV certification course in Wylie, Texas, Artesia Fire Captain Eli Herrera has obtained his Fire Officer III and IV certification through the Pro Board of Fire Service Professional Qualifications.
Capt. Herrera said that he finished the Fire Officer I and II classes a few years ago, and he took the classes to become a Fire Officer III and IV in December 2012. Altogether, Capt.
