To honor the law enforcement officers who gave their lives serving Indian Country and to add two fallen officers to the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s Indian Law Enforcement Memorial, the 22nd Annual Indian County Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Service was held Thursday at the FLETC.
While all of the fallen officers received formal recognition during the ceremony, the service focused a great deal on the two names added to the FLETC’s memorial this year: Sgt. Frederick Riggenbach of the Chitimacha Tribal Police Department and Deputy Christopher Dewey of the Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
