From left, Amy Dunlop, Carol Halliwell, Jennifer Campbell, Matthew Rael and Blanca Villa of the Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) pose with Mayor Phillip Burch Wednesday morning as April 2013 is proclaimed Child Abuse Prevention Month. According to the proclamation, a child is not only our greatest responsibility but the representation of innocence and hope for our future. Communities must join together to ensure the safety of our children by providing education and awareness. Rob Larson – Daily Press
