As part of a tour through Southeast New Mexico, U.S. Senator Tom Udall visited Roswell, Carlsbad and Artesia Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, speaking with local farmers, ranchers and conservation leaders as well as agency figureheads at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).
Udall began the tour with a trip to Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell, where he had a roundtable discussion with local farmers, ranchers, etc. Udall said the conversation focused primarily on the drought. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
