Devyn Garcia sprays down the trees lining Main Street with water in an attempt to scare away the grackles that have come to inhabit them in droves. According to Artesia MainStreet Executive Director Rebecca Prendergast, Garcia will be spraying the trees between First and Seventh streets every night at 8, 9 and 10 p.m. until Sunday, March 24.
