The officer immediately pulled onto 13th Street and activated his emergency lights and siren, but the vehicle didn’t stop. After driving further north on 13th Street, the officer then advised dispatch the Charger went off-road and possibly crashed near a trailer park “due to a large amount of dirt and observing the vehicle go off-road.”
After entering the trailer park, the vehicle was located in one of the park’s car ports. While talking with a man who claimed to be in the passenger’s seat during the chase, officers at the scene then allegedly saw Tarango running away. He was advised to stop, but he continued.
