The Artesia Public Schools Board of Education presents Central Elementary School Principal Tammy Davis and her staff with a certificate of recognition for receiving the 2012 National Blue Ribbon Award Monday. Davis and Central teacher Patty Heidenreich recently returned from Washington, D.C., where they received a 2012 National Blue Ribbon plaque and flag to display at the school.
