Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) toured the temporary detention facility for undocumented immigrants Friday at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).
Johnson, Heinrich and Artesia Mayor Phillip Burch met with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and FLETC representatives to discuss the operation of the facility, established nearly three weeks ago following an influx of immigrants with children and unaccompanied minors illegally crossing into the United States. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
