Kaydahzinne dedicated to Artesia’s health

A crisis can be a very life-changing experience in an infinite variety of ways. Just ask Carol Kaydahzinne.
“I wanted to go into journalism or become a lawyer originally, but when my mother got cancer, I began thinking about becoming a nurse practitioner,” Kaydahzinne said. “I was really impressed by the treatment she received from nurses. Now working at the Yucca Healthcare Clinic, Certified Nurse Practitioner Carol Kaydahzinne initially went to college at Johns Hopkins University, did some work at Boston College, and then received her B.S.N. from the University of New York. In 1975, she became a licensed nurse practitioner through Harvard University’s Nurse Practitioner Program.
