Members of Artesia MainStreet traveled to Albuquerque Manufacturing Inc. in Albuquerque Thursday to view the progress being made on the Wall of Honor. The wall will be installed in the new Baish Veterans’ Park and consists of nine 7.5-foot-high, 4-foot-wide stainless steel plates. The more than 600 names of local veterans are being cut into the quarter-inch-thick plates using water jets, pictured above. The park is scheduled for completion at the end of this month, and a dedication ceremony will be held Nov. 12.
