For the Daily Press
It sure doesn’t feel like summer is winding down, but it must be, because we are working on our upcoming fall events here at the museum.
First up will be our annual Living Treasures ceremony and reception at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23. This year, we will be thanking Tommy Sanders and Lowell Irby for their contributions to Artesia with a short program and reception. Refreshments will be served, and everyone is invited to help us celebrate two of Artesia’s nicest people and enjoy an exhibit from the museum’s permanent art collection. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
Our Fifth Annual Dia de los Muertos/Day of the Dead celebration will take place from 1-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.
