Artesia Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Hayley Klein and Director of Economic Development Michael Bunt addressed the Eddy County Commission Wednesday morning, resulting in the commission voting unanimously to grant up to $90,000 for future lobbying efforts for the benefit of Artesia.

“We’ve been very successful so far in the efforts that we’ve undertaken, and the program has grown every year,” Klein said to the commission. “So we’d like to take that to the next level, in terms of advocacy and education, in Washington or Santa Fe or wherever our efforts take us on behalf of Artesia.”
