An Artesia man was apparently caught red-handed as he tried to burglarize a vehicle on Friday.
Nathan Olguin, 21, of Artesia, was arrested and charged with three counts: burglary, possession of burglary tools and larceny $250 to $500.
At approximately 1:20 a.m., an on-duty Artesia Police Department detective discovered Olguin suspiciously crouched inside a red Dodge pickup at 705 W. Cannon Ave.
When questioned about his activities, Olguin reportedly claimed he had permission from the owner of the truck to be in the vehicle and remove items from it. … For the rest of the story, subscribe in print and on the web.
