The Artesia girls unfortunately came up short of the Lady Hilltoppers on the afternoon, 45-31, but the Bulldogs completed a weekend sweep of their fellow Class 4A opponents that began Friday with a 69-46 win over Valencia and ended Saturday afternoon with a 72-51 victory over Del Norte. The Lady ‘Dogs dropped to 2-4 on the season with their loss, while the Bulldogs improved to 3-2. Full details will be published in Tuesday’s edition of the Daily Press.
