Jeanette Delgado was named the Tate Branch Success Maker for the month of September during Monday’s meeting of the APS board. Delgado is the custodian at Central Elementary School. One of the students who nominated her wrote: “I want to thank Ms. Delgado for helping me. Thank you for keeping our school clean and for giving me warm hugs.” Central principal Tammy Davis said of Delgado, “The relationship she has with our kids is one you can’t pay for.

She loves them, they love her; kids line up begging to help Ms.

Delgado take out the trash. She has a wonderful relationship with our kids and our staff, and she is an absolute joy to work with every day.” Delgado is pictured third from left alongside APS board members, from left, Jeff Bowman, Cherie Widmayer, board president Lowell Irby, David Conklin and Luis Florez.
