A passenger vehicle sits incapacitated in the yard of a home on the north corner of Seventh Street and Ray Avenue Friday afternoon after colliding with a tree in the yard. According to the Artesia Police Department, a 13-year-old juvenile took a family member’s car and ended up losing control. She suffered multiple internal injuries and was airlifted to an area hospital. She is expected to survive.
