More than 330 fourth-grade and kindergarten students from Central, Hermosa, Roselawn, Yeso and Yucca Elementary Schools and Grand Heights Early Childhood Center took audiences on A Math-Magical journey Friday at the Artesia High School Auditorium. National Dance Institute (NDI) of New Mexico spent two weeks working with the students in preparation for the show during its annual visit to the community to encourage healthy attitudes, self-discipline and creativity, and provide students with the opportunity to perform in front of their families, peers and community.
