Above, Brody and Stevi Fox work to craft snowballs as little brother Josiah Ingram flees in the background during Saturday morning’s snow in Artesia. The flakes that began falling Friday evening transformed the community into a winter wonderland just in time for Christmas… but residents had to be up early to enjoy it, as the snow had melted away by noon. That left some kids, like the young man below, spotted Saturday afternoon cobbling together a snowman in Central Park, making do with what little bits were left in the shade.
