Anna Kuhn

Memorial services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, at the Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Ponchatoula, La., for Anna Beth Boteler Kuhn, a native of Artesia and resident of Ponchatoula.

Kuhn, 77, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2018.

Bro. Danny Smith will officiate the services, with interment to follow at the Rosaryville Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel.

Beth was full of life and never met a stranger. She always wore a beautiful smile and saw the best in everyone. Her favorite things in life were playing the piano, reading, and the music of Barry Manilow.

Beth taught English literature at multiple universities and high schools throughout the South. She was an extremely loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who is already so deeply missed.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Kuhn Sr.; daughter Timmi Thompson; son Thomas Kuhn Jr. and wife Deborah; sister Beverly Drace and husband Dutch; grandchildren Jerame Short and wife Echo, Jason Gamett and wife Anna, Samuel Kuhn, and Nora Kuhn; and great-grandchildren Ethan Short, Dorian Short and Kyrianna Short.

She was preceded in death by son-in-law Gilbert Thompson; and her parents, Verna and Monroe Boteler.
