Jose and Isidora Orozco

Jose C. Orozco, 92, of Albuquerque, passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, surrounded by his family. Jose was preceded in death by his wife, Isidora Orozco, on Jan. 1, 2014.

A celebration of life service for Mr. and Mrs. Orozco will be held Saturday, Dec. 15, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. A rosary will begin at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment of ashes will follow at Woodbine Cemetery.

Jose Orozco was born in 1926 in Redford, Texas. He was a truck driver and farmer in the Carlsbad and Artesia area for many years.

Isidora Olguin Orozco was born in 1932 in Roswell. She was retired from Carlsbad Medical Center.

Survivors include sons Edmundo Orozco and Estevan Orozco, both of El Paso, Texas; daughters Ester Acosta of Rio Rancho and Evangelina Gonzales of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters Consuelo Rodriguez of Watsonville, Calif., Frances Hernandez of Artesia, and Angelita Aguilar of Odessa, Texas; and many nephews and nieces.
