The FBI and the Carlsbad Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an individual who robbed a bank Friday morning in Carlsbad.

The suspect, pictured, was wearing a mask, a hooded sweatshirt bearing the words “American Eagle,” a dark ski cap, sunglasses, and black gloves.

At approximately 9:07 a.m. Friday, the suspect entered Western Commerce Bank, 501 N. Canal St., Carlsbad, displaying a handgun and demanding money from a teller. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect left the bank.
