La Fonda Restaurant on the corner of Second and Main streets is currently undergoing an exterior renovation, its first since 1983. Once complete, the building will feature three different colors, along with a new sign. Paint work is expected to be complete by early next week, with sign installation set for mid-November. General manager Betsy Shields stated La Fonda “just needed a facelift and modernization to bring it some new life.” La Fonda remains under the same ownership and is open for business during the renovation.
