Jose Torres, 33, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Nov. 7 for pretrial conference on charges of trespassing.

Charges of unlawful use of a license, vehicle subject to registration, use of plate on another vehicle, and improper equipment dismissed against Michael Wayne Solt, 65, of Artesia.

Melissa Fernandez, 52, of Artesia, found guilty of battery against a household member. Sentenced to two years of supervised probation. Total fines and fees $123.

Nathan R. Olguin, 28, of Artesia, found guilty of unlawful use of a license. Sentenced to 34 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $231.

Charges of tampering with a motor vehicle, burglary of a vehicle, two counts of larceny, two counts of criminal damage to property, and residential burglary dismissed against Rodney Almanza, 49, of Artesia.

Racheal Mata, 37, of Roswell, bound over to district court on charges of shoplifting (over $500 but less than $2,500).

Trent Atwood, 40, of Tularosa, bound over to district court on charges of possession of a controlled substance, to wit: methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Charges of unlawful use of a license dismissed against Rodney Almanza, 49, of Artesia.

Derrick D. Torres, 32, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Oct. 17 for a probation violation hearing.

Charges of battery against a household member dismissed against John Brizeno, 41, of Artesia.

Jarred Michael Valdez, 35, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Oct. 10 for preliminary examination on charges of criminal sexual contact of a minor and abuse of a child.

Aaron Vasquez, 20, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Oct. 10 for pretrial conference on charges of trespassing; for preliminary examination on charges of burglary of a vehicle, criminal damage to property, and possession of drug paraphernalia; for pretrial conference on charges of battery against a household member; and pretrial conference on charges of larceny.

David Rutherford, 28, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Oct. 24 for pretrial conference on charges of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ernesto Lopez, 24, of Artesia, found guilty of failure to pay fines. Sentenced to five days in ECDC. In a separate ruling, Lopez was scheduled to appear Oct. 10 for pretrial conference on charges of resisting, evading or obstructing an officer and criminal damage to property; for preliminary examination on charges of receiving stolen property, battery upon a peace officer, and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer; and preliminary examination on charges of burglary of a vehicle, possession of burglary tools, and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer.

Erica Marie Juarez, 36, of Carlsbad, found guilty of possession of marijuana. Sentence to 15 days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $198.

Amanda J. Solt, 35, of Dexter, scheduled to appear Nov. 7 for a probation violation hearing.

Timothy Hoerath, 40, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Nov. 7 for a probation violation hearing. In a separate ruling, Hoerath was bound over to district court for forensic evaluation testing on charges of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Rene DeLaRosa, 30, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Oct. 17 for preliminary examination on charges of aggravated battery against a household member and battery against a household member.

Kayla M. Gattshall, 31, of Carlsbad, scheduled to appear Nov. 7 for pretrial conference on charges of shoplifting.

Greg Marquez, 30, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of aggravated fleeing of a law enforcement officer.

Herald N. Caraveo, 30, of Artesia, scheduled to appear Oct. 29 for non-jury trial on charges of possession of marijuana, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer, and battery.

Lacie Renee Stephen, 26, of Artesia, bound over to district court on charges of two counts of unlawful theft of an ATM or debit card, conspiracy to commit theft of an ATM or debit card, and two counts of larceny.

Andrew Del Palacio, 25, of Alamogordo, found guilty of aggravated DWI and speeding. Sentenced to three days in ECDC. Total fines and fees $728.
